Gary Morrison began his firefighting career as a volunteer with Little York Fire Department in 1989 and joined Conroe Fire Department in 1992, that has led to nearly 40 years in the field. With expertise in diesel mechanics, he founded Custom Apparatus Maintenance in 1997, which became Apparatus Services, LLC in 2005. Passionate about firefighting, hazmat, rescue, and apparatus, Gary now offers solutions tailored to your needs.
Denise Morrison, with a B.Sc. in Business and Commerce, an MBA in Accounting, and 26 years of experience in business and financial planning, has the expertise to assist you with your apparatus solutions that fit your department.
Our operation
MX4TX was developed to address suppression needs for Municipal and Industrial clients requiring a smaller, capable vehicle to bridge the gap between a brush fire truck and a full-size pumper.
The aim is to supply Tactical Pumpers manufactured by WS Darley Co., featuring standard full-size fire pumps on compact chassis suitable for various applications. These vehicles can function as squads for EMS responses, initial apparatus for automatic alarm investigations, or service units for calls that fall outside the purview of other emergency services. Upon arrival, these trucks are equipped with pumping capability to manage emerging situations.
MX4TX assists customers in specifying apparatus to fit their requirements and also provides support with sourcing, installing, and mounting necessary hand tools, hoses, nozzles, and equipment.
For industrial clients, MX4TX collaborates in assembling Quick Attack trucks that fulfill daily service roles and act as rapid response vehicles during emergencies. These trucks are built by partner vendors, following collaboration with customers to finalize vehicle design. Equipment procurement and installation are facilitated by MX4TX.
Currently, MX4TX serves as a coordinator for service and repair work, offering minor warranty repairs through certified EVT technicians but does not operate as a full-service facility.
